A proud member of the Colombo Uptown Rotary family, the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Arts was chartered on the 26th of March 2010. The Club motto, “Come for the Fellowship, Stay for the Impact“, represents our hope for the club as well as our country. During the period since its charter, the club has been recognized at the District Rotaract Assembly for its numerous projects along with the Rotary and Rotaract district citations and recognition as one of the best reporting clubs. Since its inception, the Club has even produced two District Rotaract Representatives: Rtr. Abdul Wahid Sathar, the charter president was appointed DRR for the year 2013-14 as well as the 4th president of the club, Rtr. PP Anuradha Senanayake who was the District Representative for the year 2017-18.
The club remains dedicated to making a meaningful contribution to the betterment of the community and a brighter future.
